FHCM▪S ARCHITECTS NAMES THREE ASSOCIATES

BOSTON MA (January 2005) - FHCM▪S Architects, a Boston-based architectural firm is pleased to announce the appointment of three of its employees to Associate.  The announcement was made by principals Michael Cohen and Gary Moneyhun. 

Sam Dennis has over 26 years of architectural design experience and has been with FHCM▪S Architects since 2001.  Mr. Dennis has worked on a number of prominent projects including Corky Row Historic Housing, the Longyear Museum, and Huntington Plaza Renovation.  Mr. Dennis is currently the project manager for the new Germaine Lawrence, O'Keefe Treatment Center in Arlington, MA and the expansion of the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Arlington, MA.  Mr. Dennis is a member of the Boston Society of Architects, Boston Area Solar Energy Association and the New England Solar Energy Association.  He holds Bachelor of Architecture Degree from the Boston Architectural Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Archeology from the University of Arizona, Tuscon. 

David DeFilippo, AIA has over 24 years architectural design experience, with a particular emphasis on the design of educational facilities.  Mr. DeFilippo's experience includes elementary and high schools in Massachusetts and New York, projects for New York State College of Ceramics, Mansfield University and the Los Angeles Central Library. Mr. DeFilippo is currently the project architect for the new Beatley Library at Simmons College.  Mr. DeFilippo is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Boston Society of Architects. Mr. DeFilippo attended the Pratt Institute, School of Architecture.

Michael Harrison, AIA, is an award winning architect with over 25 years of professional design experience.  Mr. Harrison's experience includes several new elementary schools in Massachusetts, award winning design for veterinary hospitals around the country, and projects for Genzyme, V.A. Medical Center and Schepens Eye Research Institute. Mr. Harrison joined FHCM▪S Architects in 2004 and is currently the project manager for the new Beatley Library at Simmons College.  Mr. Harrison is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Boston Society of Architects and holds a Bachelor or Architecture Degree from the University of Notre Dame.
